This week's prompt was "first time" and drabbles had to be between 450-500 words. Unfortunately this week we've lost subseekerff to a computer crash. It's such a shame, too. :( However, that means this week there won't be an elimination. Every author whose drabble you're reading will be here next week! There will still be a vote, though, to find out this week's winner. And you will still vote for most and least favorite so we can use the same point system.

Title: Permanence
Pairing: Enzo Amore / Colin Cassady
Rating: PG
Warnings: none

“Stop bein’ such a big baby about it. It’s nothin’!”
“That’s easy for you to say.”
“Look, d’you wanna do this or not? We can just get rings like normal folks.”
Cass sighed through his nose, looking sideways at Enzo. They were next to one another on a couch in the waiting area of a tattoo shop - Enzo’s favorite one, naturally. Something by Wale was playing from a stereo somewhere, and all around them were framed pieces of flash art.
And Enzo was giving him a look. Lips pursed slightly, eyebrows furrowed just a little bit - it was his serious look. And though Cass almost expected to see disappointment in his eyes, his gaze was nothing but inquisitive as he waited for an answer.
“I wanna do this,” Cass insisted.
“Why? ‘Cause it’s what I want?”
“Did I say that?”
“I’m just tryin’ to make sure, man. We do this, and next thing I know, five years down the road, we’re havin’ a dispute and you’re throwin’ it in my face that I made ya get a tattoo.” Enzo shrugged.
“Nobody makes me do anythin’. For one thing.”
Enzo rolled his eyes dramatically.
“And for another, I wanna do this ‘cause it’s what I want.”
They stared at one another - Cass to try and prove his point and Enzo to try and debunk it. It was Enzo who broke first, blinking and flashing a quick little grin.
“Good. Rings is some fugazi crap that ain’t worthy of us, how you doin’? Look, I know ya don’t like needles -”
“When did I say that?”
“Ya don’t gotta -”
“Oh, you’re so good at readin’ me that you can just tell?”
“Just listen to me already, damn. It’s gonna be a real small one and it won’t hurt as bad as you’re thinkin’, okay? You might even like it.” Enzo raised his eyebrows, and Cass narrowed his eyes skeptically. When Enzo reached over and grabbed his left hand, the touch was more of a comfort than Cass had anticipated - it steadied and calmed him. “The first one’s always the worst, but it’ll be so worth it.”
“I do like the design.”
“‘Course ya do - I picked it out.”
Enzo was still holding his left hand, and now his thumb was stroking along Cass’ ring finger - something that was very deliberate, and yet it seemed like Enzo wasn’t even thinking about it. His brow was still a little furrowed, and Cass found himself smirking; he was pleased that Enzo was so worried about what he wanted.
And the more he thought about it, the more he wanted this. The matching ring tattoos would symbolize so much more than just a marriage - they would be the very definition of partnership, bonding him and Enzo together permanently.
So when the artist had finished prepping her station and asked if they were ready, it was Cass who answered first, his words certain and determined:
“Hell yes.”

When the waitress came and asked what she could get her Natalya ordered a water with lemon and then checked the time on her phone for the hundredth time. He was only five minutes late and that wasn’t that big a deal, it wasn’t like she’d been waiting here for hours. Besides Nikki and John had assured her he was coming and they wouldn’t set her up with a flake so she was worrying over nothing. Natalya took a deep breath and let it out slowly trying to calm her churning stomach; she really didn’t want to throw up on her date.
When he did finally show up Nattie was caught off guard by how handsome he was. Nikki had told her he was good looking; she hadn't told her that he looked like a cover model for GQ.
“Sorry I’m late; there was a little more traffic than I had anticipated. I’m Dolph and you must be Natalya. John and Nikki have told me so much about you.”
Dolph was easily over 6 feet tall, slicked back shoulder length blonde hair, bright blue eyes and the smile he flashed her was dentist commercial perfect. For a moment Nattie didn’t know how to reply.
“Um…”
After mentally giving herself a shake she was able to get out a full sentence. “Uh it’s ok. You’re hardly late at all. It’s nice to meet you too Dolph. Please sit, would you like a drink? I’ve already ordered mine so the waitress should be back any second.”
He took off his suit jacket and set it on the back of the chair before sitting. His white dress shirt outlined his defined chest and stomach as he moved. Nattie’s mouth watered in response, this man was certainly one of the hottest if not the hottest man she’d ever seen in person. Why on earth was this guy getting set up on blind dates?
“So Dolph, you get roped into going on blind dates by your friends often?”
His laugh slid over her like liquid velvet and Natalya shivered. “I’ve been on my fair share of blind dates but this is the first one in a long while. After my last relationship disaster I took a break from the dating world. How about you, you get set up with strange men on a regular basis?”
“Nope, this is actually my first blind date. I’m coming off of a long term relationship, a VERY long term relationship but that ended 3 months ago and Nikki insists that I’m ready to get back out there. Despite all my protestations she can be very insistent. So here I am.”
“Well I’m glad you decided to come. After everything they told me about you I was eager to meet you. It’s not every day a man meets a stunning woman as deeply obsessed with professional wrestling as he is.”
This time it was Natalya’s turn to laugh out loud. “Oh Dolph you have no idea.”

A cool, light, refreshing breeze fluttered over the two men as they lay there shoulder to shoulder on the spread out blanket. Both sets of blue eyes were focused on the expansive and beautiful starry night. The only light came from the twinkling stars above them. Both wore long sleeve shirts, it being a slightly cool night in Nevada.
“I’ve never done this,” Cody murmured, turning his head to look at the man next to him. He smiled. “Thank you.”
Dean only smirked, turning his attention away from the cloudless sky to Cody. “I used to do it all the time as a kid in Ohio,” he explained, shrugging. “Not like you can see much in Cinnci but ya know.”
Cody nodded, looking back up. “I’ve looked up a couple times, but never like this. I didn’t know there were so many stars if it was this dark.”
“One of the perks of living in the desert. Get far enough away from Vegas and you can see it all,” he went on, watching as Cody’s smile brightened. Suddenly his heart thumped uncomfortably hard in his chest. He swallowed hard thinking he’d never taken anyone out to stargaze with him. He wasn’t the romantic type, and most people had no interest in laying out at one in the morning hoping for a chance to see a handful of meteors.
Dean couldn’t look away, his focus lost on Cody. Memories of their past floated through his mind. He sighed a few moments later, looking back up at the night sky. This was the first time he felt this way.
He didn’t understand why he couldn’t stop smiling when he thought about Cody or why his heart felt like it was going to burst through his chest at the simplest of kisses. Why did it grow so tight when they were apart?
He closed his eyes, both instantly snapping open when he felt Cody’s fingers lace with his. He held tight, wondering if this was what love felt like. He looked over. This had to be what love felt like.
Easing up to an elbow, Dean looked down at Cody, those eyes still searching the sky. He leaned in, kissing those lips gently. He had to be in love.
Cody whimpered into Dean’s kiss, a hand sliding through his hair. There was a need as their mouths moved together, tongues meeting in a sensual dance. It was slow, begging for them to go slow. Cody was happy to oblige, wrapping his arms around Dean’s neck, pulling him in.
He felt Dean start to pull back, their breath already uneven, eyes half lidded. He smiled, his heart pounding at the gentleness. Suddenly, a quick flash caught his eye. He pushed Dean back, watching as nearly a dozen meteors fell. “Dean look!” He pointed at the sky.
Dean turned, smiling at the show. It was the first time he’d seen something so beautiful. He was happy to share it with Cody.

Title: Night Changes
Pairing(s): Centon
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: underage drinking, mild language
Word count: 498
It started freshman year, both new to the school, Randy new to the city entirely. He made some friends right off the bat, but he also made one hell of an enemy. Since day one they were bitter rivals, be it in the classroom or on the football field.
When asked, they could never say just what it was about the other guy that they hated so much, just that they hated him. John always had to be better than Randy, Randy always had to be better than John.
Sophomore year, John made first string on the football team and Randy didn’t, John made sure to gloat each chance he got.
Junior year, Randy made first string, and he made sure everyone knew it.
Senior year, things finally changed. There weren’t many mutual friends between them, most people either friends with John or with Randy. However, Dave Batista was one of the few. He could never for the life of him figure out why they didn’t like each other. Figured it was probably because they were too similar.
Just after football season, Dave hosted a party at his house for the entire team, as well as the cheerleaders and a handful of other cute girls Dave knew. There was also plenty of alcohol.
During the course of the night, as the alcohol started flowing free, a game of truth or dare started up. It started off tame enough. I dare you to eat a spoonful of mayonnaise. Tell me about your first kiss. I dare you to stick your foot in the toilet. How often do you jerk off?
And then John gets picked, and he chooses dare. The girl, Kelly, whispers to her friend Melina and both giggle. “I dare you to kiss Randy.”
“What?”
“Are you scared?” Kelly asks.
“No! I just don’t want my mouth anywhere near Orton’s!”
“Well, you chose dare,” she reminds him.
“Fine. Fine, I’ll do it.”
“And make sure it’s a real kiss,” she adds.
John gives her a death glare, but she just grins and sips her beer. He then turns his attention to Randy, who’s equally less than thrilled about the turn of events. John then stands up and crosses the room to stand in front of Randy’s seat. Kelly gestures for Randy to stand, as well.
The second their lips touch, though, it’s as if they can’t get enough of each other. Their tongues slip between the other’s lips and slide over lips and teeth and tongue. Their hands are grabbing at hems of t-shirts, brushing over skin.
“Well, shit,” Kelly mutters. She didn’t know if John’d do it at all, and now he’s swallowing Randy whole.
When they finally part, a string of saliva connects their lips for the briefest of time. For the first time, it all makes sense, the years of hatred and tension between them. Everyone always bet they’d either end up fighting each other. No one guessed they’d end up fucking each other.

As of right now, voting will stay open until Monday at 6pm EST.
You all have 1 vote for most favorite and 1 vote for least favorite drabbles. Participants are encouraged to vote, but you may NOT vote for yourselves! I also need you to vote for BOTH most and least favorite! Your vote will not count if I don't have both!
I should explain a bit more how this works, I guess. The winner isn't decided by whoever gets the most most fav votes. Each most fav vote gets +1. Each least fav gets -1. Once those are tallied, a winner will be determined. If there's a tie, there will be a tie breaker so that there is one winner and one person is eliminated.
Please, try not to vote on a drabble just because you like a pairing. Take into account the quality of the writing and how well it fits the prompt!
When you vote, please fill out the poll, stating the number and the title of the drabbles. Also, if you don't have an LJ account, you may message me on
my tumblr. Please, do not send them anon. And the same rules apply, I need the number and the title of the drabbles.
