Sad news for book lovers
Borders Books is officially going out of business. They intend to gut it out through the end of August, and then that's it.
Blast. I honestly feel saddened over this; I was a Borders customer for decades and I (usually) loved their selection. I knew they were in trouble but was hoping that their online store, at least, would last.
And on a purely selfish level I have to admit to being dismayed due to the fact that I had 2-3 books I was waiting on from them that I'll never see now.
Fare ye well, Borders.
