More Pony-fiction
And it comes to fit any taste! FanFic Recs: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic has a vast array of recommended stories and a site for them at Equestria Daily.
It lists General stories, rather basic works about the mane cast once you get past *shudder* the likes of Cupcakes, and the shipping stories, most of which seem to involved Rainbow Dash. Really, if you take the shippers seriously, one wonders how the little pegasi ever gets anything done since she seems to be Ponyville's public bus.
Myself, I like the listed crossovers, and some of them are insane. Like one where Apple Bloom meets the Beldam from "Coraline". Or "The Luna Heresy" which is MLP:FiM meets Warhammer 40K. And then there's the ghastly and heart-rending "Slender Mane", in which Twilight Sparkle gets accidentally drugged by some plant, goes insane, buries Fluttershy alive (but rescues her when she becomes lucid again), and then she and poor Fluttershy get subjected to a literal fate worse than death.
There's a story where Fluttershy meets Kratos from the God of War games (man, what is UP with injecting all the blood-drenched Grimdark into MLP?). There are several Doctor Who, I mean Whoof stories, which seem to be very well done. Really, it's hard not to find something to your liking.
I may be making a longer post about the infamous "Cupcakes" later on; I'm debating whether I want to do it before or after eating.
