They better change their minds about Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Monster Squad, is all. And while I'm torn on a new Conan, if it helps bring heroic fantasy out of its doldrums and especially if it gets the older material reprinted, I'll be delighted.
And a new The Howling? Please don't touch Marcia! The nympho werewolf was one of my dream girls whie growing up. ;)
And I wonder how classic anime fans will feel about an Americanized live-action Akira?
For that matter, how can you forget a live-action/CGI mix of The Smurfs, coming to the big screen soon?
Really, Hollywood, don't you have any ideas for new films?
