Some info on the AC room deal
Not that I was specifically looking, but according to what I've heard it's because of two main problems:
1: People kept reserving rooms and then cancelling at the last minute, which sometimes left the hotel 25-33% empty when AC had promised them a full house.
2: The boneheaded antics of various furfans who did things like leave rooms a total mess, threaten or verbally abuse the maids when they tried to clean said rooms (including sometimes vandalizing their carts), and even go so far as to crap on the floor and then smear it over the walls(!). The diaper/babyfurs are denying this with their every breath, but no one seems to be taking them seriously... which is odd, as they were never even accused to begin with.
Given all that? Yeah, I can understand why the hotel's patience has run a bit thin.
PS: In case you're wondering what this is all about, there was a kerfluffle over a new policy where if you want to reserve a room at the Westin (the hotel AC is held at) you have to pay for one night's stay in advance.
