Tonight at 6 on TCM they will be showing one of the very greatest horror films of all time, Jacques Tourneur's Curse of the Demon. A very skeptical American anthropologist gets called over to England for a conference on supernatural beliefs which will feature an expose on a devil cult run by one Julian Karswell, as done by a friend of his. The anthropologist arrives to discover that his friend is very horribly dead and that Mister Karswell is not at all interested in the publicity which this expose would bring. The anthropologist decides to bull his way through anyway, only to find that Karswell's powers may not be as phone as he thinks...
Really a great movie for those who love atmospheric horror, with amazing SFX for its time as done by the stage magician Blackstone and an amazing cast. You do not want to miss it.
