More Saturday Morning Memories
Anyone else remember this one? It's Funky Phantom time!
Down at the local public library they have two big boxed sets (two volumes each!) of the old Hanna-Barbera SatAm cartoons of the 60's and 70's, which include The Funky Phantom among others ranging from Marine Boy to the Herculoids. Now I gotta rent them, just to inflict on various neighbors and relatives I don't want to visit me anymore.
And the fun part about those boxed sets? They're clearly labeled NOT FOR CHILDREN, INTENDED FOR ADULT COLLECTORS -- and they're in the Kid's Section. Then againk, these folks have a graphic novel section that contains everything from Bone to Watchmen and Hellsing all set together for the kids.
