Good and not so good news
First the good news -- remember Kylen Miles? She's back on FA with an account: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/artaith-21/
I remember her drawing some gorgeous artwork, and it looks like she's only gotten better since then.
Now the not so good: it looks like AnthroCon is dead for me. I just got my car inspected and it's finished -- needs new tires, brakes, and over a $1000 in body work. There is no way in hell I can cover any of this. And even if I could, the garage told me that since there's 120,000 miles on the car "it wouldn't do any good anyway, since the engine will probably just die in a few weeks or months anyway."
And the best part? The worst part of the damage was done within the past month or so when I started the temp census job. Which I did specifically to get some money for AC. So the job I took to ensure getting to AC is what has ensured that I won't be getting to AC. Let alone meeting some old friends of mine who I haven't seen in literally years.
And of course the family is giving me hell for allowing this to happen in the first place. Because nobody told me to get a job, after all!
You know, if things get any more fun around here, I might just hang myself for the laughs.
