Local Public Library an unofficial homeless shelter?
Just saw a surprising headline in today's paper (aside from the one about "Casinos not bringing in as much money as promised" -- what a shock!):

I find it interesting after noting that all sorts of nasty behavior are going on (the fighting, sex in the bathrooms, drug use, the usual fun library activities) they keep reassuring us that "Oh, but the homeless aren't dangerous!" Most of them, maybe, but some of them are indeed dangerous. If nthing else, I don't go to the library to walk in on someone having sex or shooting up in the halls.
Man but this town has gone to seed since the casinos opened.
