Something scary for Halloween, and not in a good way. A 5'-something, 120 pound model was fired for being "fat

YIKES.
She is 5'10" and 120 lbs. I'm 5'7" and 114 lbs. I bet I'm way too fat as well. And too short, LOL.

The model standards that the clothing companies come up with are ridiculous and downright scary. If they want the emaciated look, they should hire some poor starving tribal woman out of Africa. She'd get food and money, and they'd get their look. Win-Win! /sarcasm

No offense, but I always thought you looked a trifle skinny. But I'm used to ther sort of figures many of the women (and men) had in my mainly PA Dutch family: short, stocky, and solid.

If they want the emaciated look, they should hire some poor starving tribal woman out of Africa.

Or just dig up a skeleton from the cemetary. As long as they keep the dogs away from her she'll work cheap.

And she's Muslim? Hmm, a nosy part of me wonders what her stricter co-religionists think of her lifestyle and attire (not that I criticize either, rest assured!).
