Rock and Work
So I started work yesterday at the Evergreen Fair, and I'll be stuck there for the remainder of it. My boss is being reasonable about my hours though, which is a blessing and a burden all at the same time... I get more free time while I'm working so I'm not nearly as tired, but I really need to clock in as many hours as possible before school starts.
Last night I snuck into the Blue Oyster Cult concert at the fair after I got off. Great solos and stuff, and I got to hear both the songs I wanted too... but it wasn't as good as the show ould have been. One of their main sing/guitar players was very ill and couldn't perform that night... But I guess since it was a free show for me (thanks to vendor service gates and lax security), I have no right to complain.
So I just found out that the Death Cab For Cutie tickets are sold out. DAMMIT! Is anyone going? I want to go to this show so much that ticket scalpers and eBay are looking like good ideas...
Well I guess the rest of my week (and Summer for that matter) is work... Except for orientation, which I expect to be boring and akward.
