New Year's Resolutions
1. Finish writing my book, which now has a title after being called 'The Untitled Book' for so long. Mix.
2. Finish 5 other major projects.
Those are the resolutions that count for something really good, anyway. I'm terrible with completing projects. I started working on a zine called 'How to Kiss and Tell', but there weren't enough submissions. Maybe I'll go back to it if I can gather some more interesting stories, but for now, a different zine is quite okay.
The college I want to go to has an 0.05% admit rate for the particular school I want to get into. Guess I better work on that portfolio. :)
I self-taught myself the intro to "Iron Man", the intro to what I think is a Black Sabbath song, and a song I had play in the 5th grade on recorder--all on guitar. I s'pose I should also learn the actual notes to the guitar. I think I'm utterly hopeless, but at least I'm getting better at playing music by ear.
And I also started writing the screenplay to a movie the other day. It's an untitled project at the moment, but the opening line is: I like to believe my life began on two separate days.
I was going through some folders on the computer and found some photographs I took of my friends (Emilie, Dayna, Kadin, and Gena). I should print them out for them. Some of them are really nice.
2005 was one big disappointment of all these little disappointments one after another. I'm not going to be a lazy hodgepodge and let the same thing happen to to 2006.
Maybe it's best to be alone.
