Just went for a job interview. Job was at the lowest end of pay I can afford to work for, but was the type of organisation I really like working for, and was advertised as full time ( Read more... )

It was, but it came to an end as locum placements do. Sigh.

Bah. I thought it would maybe turn into a permanent placement.

Best of luck. Should I look out for stuff in my internal recruitment flyers? (Or would that be a bit too much like working for the enemy?)

Where do you work? :) basically I prefer to work for employees, but will work for public sector employers.

Might still be a perm job coming up at GLA but prob not till xmas - funding, auditing, blah blah blah. Was officially encouraged to apply when and if it does though.

I work for a local authority. Can keep an eye out if you PM me with the kinds of things you'd like/rough salary restrictions, that kind of thing. We regularly get internal recruitment doodads, and some of the national ps recruitment bumf (I assume you already check www.jobsgopublic?)

Yeah, I assumed that you'd want to work for employees, which is why I thought even a public sector employer might be de trop, as it were. I understand these conflicts :-)

Hope the perm thing at the GLA works out, it sounds like a decent place to work all round.
