Wow, haven't played in a while. I love making small houses (... not really a house actually, but let's go with that) on tiny/small lots since it reminds me of the time when I lived out of a cramped dorm for school. Good times. Anyways, this is one of the first few houses of Scallion Fields, a very environmentally-conscious town full of bookstores, microbreweries, coffee shops, a large farmers' market, and hipsters.
Ellie. Ambitious and secretive. She lives alone on Schmidt Street and works for a strange life insurance company. Ellie doesn't have too many friends so she takes care of her sister and her roommates. Is thinking of buying a cat so life at home wouldn't be as lonely. Likes to blast Baroque operas in the evenings.
Dean. Calm and reserved. Amateur cultural anthropologist. Can live off his family's wealth, but chooses to work at a convenience store to pass the time and to observe the masses. Secretly wants to be a badass cop/spy/ninja. Sees Ellie every morning when she buys a cheap cup of coffee before she goes to work, and hasn't quite built up the courage to talk to her.
Zoë. Foul-mouthed, tough, and a gym nut. Kid sister of Ellie, and lives with Andy and Phil on
Ergoline Alley. Spends the day working at a diner peeling vegetables and spends her nights watching zombie movies and drinking beers with Phil and Andy. Zoë was once dancing in the background of rap videos in her underwear, but has now retired from the business.
Andy. Hipster to the core. Loves bird-watching and vegetarian pad thai. Once arrested for "molesting a pine tree", Andy now plays it safe and communes with nature in the backwoods of Scallion Fields. Andy knows that you wouldn't like the bands he likes, since nobody's heard of them. Claims to hate anything "mainstream".
Phil. Thespian. Dramatic and usually too stoned to care. Achieved moderate fame after being cast in a successful men's deodorant commercial which led to shirtless scenes in various other adverts. Likes to bum out and play videogames with his BFFs Andy and Zoë. Often speaks in third-person when not reading from a script.
Credit for Andy and Dean goes to Libertine and Mouseyblue.
I'm going off on a two-month vacation around Asia, so I won't be back until early September!
(Alex, I know I said this summer, but next January looks better. I'm having my plane ticket paid for too!)
