[Ever since he came across the unconscious male at the edge of the city, Yamamoto has taken it upon himself to be the unofficial guardian (of sorts). No one has stepped forward to claim that they were acquainted to him… yet, and he could not just leave the other alone, at least not until the other was conscious and moving.

Training was done for the day and he had some free time on his hands, so he made his way to the hospital.

It had been a weird week, and everything still felt surreal to him, but he is more or less so settled in.

His steps were leisurely, casual as he made his way down the white halls of the hospital, his feet automatically taking him toward the room of the man he found. He spied a now vaguely familiar face outside the hospital room. A grin made its way to his face.]

Yo!

You’re finally awake.

[Yamamoto gave him a small wave.]

[Vincent froze, eyes widening as he stopped short from bowling the man over, staggering in his weakened state]

Who-

[He almost finished, but there was no time-]

Move, I have to-

[Another unfinished sentence, unfinished thoughts, trying to push past the younger man and out to what he could only think was reality]

Eh?

[The other man was still swaying on his feet, moving unsteadily down the hall. Yamamoto did what came naturally to him - he offered his hand for the other to hold on to.]

You shouldn’t be leaving the hospital until you’re better.

[He looked at it, then at his face, shaking his head]

I have to go, you don't understand-

I can't stay here-

[swallowclash]

[Yamamoto had no idea why the other was so averse to staying in a hospital, but he said nothing for a moment]

You’re scared of hospitals?

[His grin widened and he scratched the back of his head, laughing]

You can stay with me for a bit if you like.

[He extended his hand to the other once more, smiling sincerely.]

You don't understand!

[He weakly pushed the hand away, struggling to keep his voice level]

I'm wanted- You can't be around me- I need to get out-

[He was puzzled, but he could not deny that the other looked troubled]

I don’t know who’s after you, but I do know that you’re not well and I can’t just leave you alone knowing that!

[Vincent struggled to get ahead, down the hall, mind reeling]
