ATTN: Anyone want to meet up w/ me in the US/Canada?
I'm planning my holiday from about 28 Dec onwards. I'll be in the US/Canada for a month to six weeks. Where abouts are you???
Our current lists of places we're going to includes:
USA: Calafornia, Nevada, Washington, New York, Massachusetts.
Canada: Vancouver and maybe, hopefully Toronto.
So. Guys, Disney land/world - which is better? What else should I try and fit in in a month? Any must-see attractions?
I'm planning to visit a whole heap of colleges while I'm over there. I'm visiting Mills in Calafornia and then Smith, Amherst, Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts and Sarah Lawrence in NY.
It was meant to be a two month holiday BUT mum and I are both going to be in new jobs and that might be hard. On the up side, with any luck and potentially a lot of prayer on my mum's part I could be living in the US for four years if I get into a college. ^_^
So that also means we're cutting out the Europe portion of out trip (sorry Carl!), at this stage...which makes me hella sad. But mum's already started planning that holiday as well for some point in the near future too.
Speaking of which, another request: the colleges I listed...I love the sound of them, but do any of them have reputations I should know of? Like, there are universities here that sound swell and awesome, but no one really goes to them because they have a reputation...if you get what I mean. ^_^

PS: HOMG! The leak of deathly hallows! Saku is the first person on my f-list to acquire it! I'm avoiding all communities except birls until I've read it. Jesus H. Christ. I'm almost tempted to go and find the download BECAUSE I CAN. Not to read! I'm waiting for my beautiful pre-ordered copy that comes complete with an owl beanie. I won't download it though, I guess...something inside tweaks annoyingly at the thought.
