When it rains it pours,
Once again, the gods of luck and destiny see fit to bend me over the nearest table much to their delight and my chagrin.
Since I havent been very active or around much lately...My cars engine decided to expire at an early age. Saturday morning while running errands, white plumes of smoke were billowing out of my exhaust and eventually the engine wouldnt turn over. According to the mechanic, originally, it seemed like a blown head gasket....nothing too horribly major...a bit expensive but nothing unmanagable.
I call monday and am informed that in fact the whole engine needs replaced and that i should call back the next morning for parts info and pricing.
$1800. parts and labor
did i mention im not gay and do not like being violated?
Well i figure i got some room on a credit card and can cover most of it with a few returns on some upgrades ive made....yeah turns out the figure i thought i had was like 500 short....so no my dad who is the only bright star in all of this, graciously is picking up the majority of it.
As most of you know me, you know that i abhor being in debt....especially to family.
The depths of my frustration and rage are apparently unknown even to me....this shit is ridiculous.
So to you faithful, pray for me....i could use a little help
