Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Theta is short (five one) and on the curvier side of average. She also has very large breasts, not that she likes this fact, and she'll wear her corset tightly over them if at all possible curse you, Mayfield!!!.

2. How old is she? 21

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? She carries herself as well and as properly as she can; she is very proud and it shows in her bearing...but see number four.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Theta is very healthy and as fit as she can be........given that her left leg is nearly destroyed. The knee has been mostly blown apart, and there's only a thin strip of flesh connecting the bottom part to the rest of her. She needs a mechanical brace to walk. Excepting Ruby City, where the bottom section has been cut off entirely and she walks with a prosthetic.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? She moves with the grace of a stage actor, overblown movements and exaggerated expressions and suchlike. She is careful of herself, given her disability, but there's a bit of ungracefulness that comes with needing a cane.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? Theta thinks she is the hottest shit ever. YMMV.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Her complexion is mostly clear, though she gets blackheads around her nose sometimes.

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. It's got sort of feathery bangs, but somewhere between chin and shoulder length hair. She's blonde, and it's very fine, but feels rough when you touch it. She'd benefit from some conditioner.

9. What color are her eyes? Green

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? When she's dressed, no. When her trousers are off, though, the scarring running up into her knee and the injuries to it are horrific enough to warrant a second mention.

11. What are her chief tension centers? Her shoulders and the back of her neck, and the bridge of her nose and her temples are her worst spots for tension.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Theta enjoys wearing the same distinctive style, though if you look close at it, it does vary. One shirt has a very high collar and buttons down the front, one shirt has buttons at the collar and cuffs but not across the front, little variations like that. But overall, it's the same outfit, over and over and over again. Her style is, in a word, steampunk.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? Oh yes. They're custom tailored and she wears them like she is the god of fashion.

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? Yes, she does.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? Bloomers!

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? It's deep for a woman, but not overly so, and very smooth.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? She speaks loudly, even when she's trying to speak softly, unless she puts some effort into her voice. Her words come very easily unless she's pausing for dramatic effect.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? She speaks with a very, very, very thick Posh English accent.

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? Just English.

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? She'll sometimes shift to Shakespearian English, usually for lolz.

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? Theta can go off on tl;dr tangents that sound like rehearsed speeches at the drop of a hat.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Theta is highly eloquent; her interest in the theatre has rubbed off on her. This tanks strong hard and fast if it's something she's uncertain about enough to question herself or her morals/ideals/standards/etc.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? Theta is =very= smart. She's very, very, very book smart, down to a lot of memorised quotations. Not so much street smart, though, but not to derp levels of fail.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She can think on her feet, but she thinks better when she has a chance to turn it over a few times, and best when she can form her thoughts by debating with people.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? She is highly logical, though she can get idealistic at times. She tries for practical.

4. What kind of education has the character had? Ivy League

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? Ergaleomancy and its component subjects--maths, physics, sciences, medicine, but in a jack-of-all-trades sort of way. And literature and philosophy; she's a voracious reader.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? Extroverted. Enough to warrant sparkles maybe.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? She is bipolar, with a strong slant towards manic cheerfulness along with a forceful drive to accomplish things. But when she crashes....shitfuck she crashes.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? By making herself the centre of attention. Seriously. Party? All eyes on her. New person? Let her tl;dr about herself and her ego. It's passed the point of being purely a character quirk, and has entered the territory of being a coping mechanism.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? Depends on how badly the situation gets to her on a personal level. Usually to act, but if it hits anything personal, she'll react first and think later.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight? As long as it can be handled with a metaphorical fight (argument, debate, etc), it's fight. If it's physical, she's got no bones about running.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? She has a very strong sense of humour, usually rooted in classical wit and sarcasm, though she has a healthy appreciation for pranks as long as it's at someone else's expense. Speaking of someone else's expense, though...she's fond of laughing at other people's pain.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? Bipolar comes to mind first and foremost. Her manic spells are awesome times for her, she gets a lot of work done and is rather a bit of a creative genius. But when she crashes, she dives into drink. In Mayfield, she's made friends enough that she can rely on them during these times, though, so she's starting to fare better there.

Theta also shows most of the characteristics of Emotional Deprivation Disorder. Again, in Mayfield, she has more strong friendships than she does in other places I'm playing her. Her relationship with Albedo is finally the unconditional love she needs to start moving forwards, and having more friendships besides that is only helping her grow. Elsewhere...she doesn't deal so well with it, and she's rapidly approaching the point of sociopathic and schizotypal tendencies.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? Her sixteenth birthday party, she came out into society and society took one look at her and said "no thank you". Despite how badly received she was, it got her plenty of attention, and the paparazzi stream that came to poke at the young ladymanthing was something she came to adore. Sometimes, (behind closed doors, a lot of the time), it hurts how badly people think of her, and she wants to do something to change everyone's minds about her, but public opinion has judged her harshly and won't be easily swayed. A lot of the time, though, she just doesn't care, and the two sides of her thoughts on that are determined by her mood swings (see above: bipolar).

14. What does she fear? Electricity and dogs are her two 'phobias', but less literally, she fears being ignored, as she can't be certain people still care if they're not paying attention to her.

15. What are her hopes or aspirations? She wants to be loved. She wants to follow in her father's footsteps so he'll love her and be proud of her, and also because she hopes that holding such a high position will make the people of England love her.

16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? She's not as genderconfused as she thinks she is. Rather, she just believes in herself the way any strong minded and strong willed young woman does. Unfortunately, given her time period and the opinion of women in it, she's convinced herself that this has to do with being at least somewhat male. Her world's view on ergaleomancers has, unfortunately, contributed to this. She doesn't want anyone to find out this about her, including herself.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. Theta loved her parents, and her parents loved her, but...not really enough. They were very permissive, and unfortunately they were permissive enough for it to damage her.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? None

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? Nope. Just her and her parents.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? Not outside of who she's met in various RP comms, no. And out of all of the comms I play in, only Mayfield has friends that close. Xenocast~

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Theta's best friends are Fetch-It and Roachi. She built them herself because she didn't have any human friends.

6. Does she have other close friends? Nope.

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? People's initial reaction to Theta is usually revulsion, but this is cultural specific to her home. She's charismatic and charming, usually to overcompensate for these cultural faults which people that are from elsewhere don't see.

8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? Whoever cares most for her. This has, in terms of just her home, always been her family. At Mayfield, though, she's made friends that overshadow her family now.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? Single. She's never been in any relationship of any sort, excepting Mayfield where she's in a committed relationship with Albedo. Ahaha and the sex comms I play her in. Those are a whole different story unto themselves. I'm leaving them out of this.

10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? At Mayfield she is. Nowhere else.

11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? None and none.

12. What does she look for in a romantic partner? Someone who challenges her intellectually, who she can if not agree with then at least debate with them. She needs someone confident enough to challenge her for dominance, though she doesn't care who wins out of the two of them. Spineless need not apply. Slap Slap Kiss is probably going to always be a recurring theme.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? No. She would rather have a pet facehugger.

14. Does she have any rivals or enemies? The entire rest of the ergaleomancers of London. They HATE her, and mostly with good reason.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale? Given that she is genderqueer, she can't fit on there. She's moderately more interested in men, a two or a four on the scale perhaps, but...she doesn't fit the gender binary to begin with.

16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? Mayfield!Theta loves it. It's one of the best ways to feel close to Albedo. She's usually found pawing at him or being pawed at herself, and she sees nothing wrong with having their whole -day- being one long session of foreplay that sometimes has interruptions known as other people before they finally tumble into bed together. Elsewhere... still not counting sex games She just doesn't see the point, stemming mostly from the fact that she's got no one she cares about enough to -see- in such a way.

17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Pain is a big turn-on, both giving and receiving, though for receiving she does need to work herself up to things, a little bit more and a little bit more at a time. She's especially fond of being bitten, having her hair pulled, and pulling hair. Her own leg is either a big turn on or a big turn off for her and there's -no- in-between. It depends on how her partner reacts to it.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac or choice) sign? How well does she fit type? Aries / Snake. Aries I picked on purpose to fit, but the year of the Snake was based on making her the right age for the right time. Looking it up...hoo boy does it fit. Scarily well.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? She actively hates religion and is disdainful of the faithful. And yet she believes in souls and the collective unconscious, as they are scientific hypotheses.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Theta's morals and ethics are fluid, but they work on a basic framework. She will not compromise her beliefs, but they do bend quite a bit when she needs them to. It's a worldview shaped by her childhood, but it's also very awkward and strange in a lot of ways.

4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? She is tolerant, but in a condescending sort of way. She believes she is -right-, and so any curiosity is in such terms as just that--idle curiosity.

5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them? She is racist, sexist, and classist, because it's hard to be raised in a society that espouses those ideals and -not- turn out that way. She sneers at religion because the religious right tries to hold back the progress of her field.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? She is financially sound, though this is owing to her parents.

2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her? She is upper class, and has been that way all her life.

3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others? She lives with her parents in a house on Eaton Square, in London. Her room is just somewhere to sleep, her heart is in her workshop, down the hall. Her room is always neat as a pin, but her workshop is an organised mess that no one but she can find anything of any use in.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on? Theatre tickets.

5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else? She is an ergaleomancer and she loves it.

6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time? She loves to read, and she especially loves the theatre.

7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? She has toast for breakfast, usually skips lunch, and then eats too much at dinner time. She drinks of an evening, and sometimes to excess. She doesn't actually have favourite foods, though her drink preferences are port, brandy, other spirits, beer (bitter), and wine, in declining order of preference.

Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is her favorite:

1. Color? Lime Green
2. Smell? Wood and Machine Oil
3. Time of day? Late Afternoon
4. Season? Fall
5. Book? I'm working on writing it now.
6. Music? Life Toward Twilight - The Theft of Memory
