Thanks to j_dav for the tag. It's provided an unexpected refocusing and the time of year felt just right for it. I have not quite stuck to the meme, but I'm in good company :)

So about writing and lj and a few other bits and bobs. I'm not doing more entries for a while, so I shall indulge here a little and I look forward to time spent enjoying your entries and threads a little more :)
I'm happy I wrote some stories this year. I never imagined posting stories myself. It feels peaceful to remember to write for the joy of it.
Lj is a happy thing, funny, interesting, stimulating, friendly. I like the writing dimension in it. I really appreciate having friends here, and I am glad to have people to talk to about stories. A very impressive and friendly bunch of people and extremely generous - thank you, one and all :D
I am happy to have four stories waiting for me to look at.
I'm kind of sorry I missed this meme yesterday, which was a fun day. A scalp massage was utterly relaxing. I could not walk afterwards. An Aladdin's Cave corner store proved the perfect shopping experience. I emerged with hair-dryer, chopping board, hot water bottles and two clothes baskets - all immediately needed and all available in the one tiny shop, found while every stitch of bed linen in the house and much else besides was being laundered. Hanging up washing to dry makes me happy, every time. Right now, that's a good job!
I gave a massage, too, and got the Cassini Division up and running, my new computer. Quiet celebration.
In Josh Lanyon's Adrien English books I love that Jake is good at massage.and the way he writes it. The books are reviewed by heartofoshun.
