I guess they don't teach 'Customer is ALWAYS right' in GED classes. How hard is it to put toppings on a sandwich? Stop giving white people a bad rep.

Quiznos, 253 5th Ave, Manhattan

this place is disgusting, i thought iwas in Haiti. The sewer was backed up and the employees were walking thru 3" of turd water. The boxed thawing chickens parts were laying in this mess. Customers did not mind though, unbelievable.

PROS: Employees can drop their drawers anywhere to defecate/ no need to go to the
CONS:

KFC, 1715 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn (to be fair this review was posted in 2005, five years before the earthquake)

when i was pergnant if went to this kfc.i waited about 45 mins for a piece of chicken .then when i got it it was the wrong order.i went back about one year later and still no change

"Closed for business? PORRRR QUEEEEEEEEEEEEE?!"

Arby's, 305 Avenue of the Americas, Manhattan

Myself, my husband and daughter travelled to New York from Ireland for our annual shopping trip. We had put Hooters on the schedule and arrived on Monday 11th January in the evening for food. We were greeted well and brought to our seat. The personality of the waitress didn't let the name of the restaurant down! Lots of meaningless silly giggles without any conversation. Within seconds of sitting down I spied a cockroach on the ballistrade. Seconds later another one. At that point I showed them to my family and said, come lets get out of here - and then another one arrived! I called the waitress to point out what was creeping around the table and why we were leaving. I suggested she immediately tell a manager. She did what she did at the start of the visit - giggled!. Will not be going again.

Hooters, 211 West 56th Street, Manhattan (cultural illiteracy ftw)

I feel the need to comment on the horrible service and appearance of this location. I am a park slope resident who happens to be a huge fan of subway and often visits local subway franchises both on 5th ave. and 7th ave. On more then 4 occasions I have gone to 258 7th ave location to find loud blasting rap music and store workers playing around even having water fights with spray bottles. Yesterday on July 25th after a jog in the park I was excited to go have my usual favorite bmt with 1 oatmeal raison cookie. instead I walked into the establishment to find a filthy rug spilled soda dirty tables and LOUD OFFENSIVE RAP MUSIC BLASTING "HOT 97" with employees dancing and singing aloud behind the counter... it gets worst. I ask the rude and lazy employee for help- she calls another employee from the back to come tend to me and my mother .. he walks out rapping offensive Jamaican lyrics. before I could speak he says there all out of bread and cookies. !@#%%^%^ are you serious????? what am I going to order cold cuts on a plate? I am DISGUSTED and hate to say but such a horrible establishment is a disgrace to such a wonderful area like park slope. The owners must have changed at this location or new management has taken over because this subway has made the ultimate change for the worst. I AM NO LONGER BUYING ANYTHING HERE AND WILL SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THE DIRTY ENVIRONMENT HORRIBLE EMPLOYEES LOUD MUSIC .. AND HOW COULD I FORGET NO BREAD? LAST TIME I CHECKED SANDWICHES INVOLVED BREAD..

-SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOMTHING ABOUT THIS LOCATION ASAP I AM DISGUSTED.

* Pros: air conditioning?
* Cons: dirty, rude employees, loud offensive music, no bread, no cookies, employees having water fights

Subway, 258 7th Ave, Brooklyn (note: I eat here a lot and love it for the exact reasons this reviewer hates it)
