First there was the Greatest Generation. Then, there were the Baby Boomers. Then there was Generation X. Then there's us--the Millenial Generation.*
Clearly, there is a trend in which each new generation after World War II gets a progressively cooler name.

*Attempts by our older brothers and sisters to call us "Generation Y", and shift the term "Millenial Generation" to our children, are falling into vehement disfavor. We are not Generation X+1 any more than they are the Baby Busters.
