The blinkie-overload makes my f-list crash - and I surf on cable. The Gods only know what those thingies do to folks surfing on a 56kb modem...
Henceforth I shall block blinkiesparklythingies. Especially the every-letter-has-a-separate-url-blinkiesparlythingies of users who have snap-preview enabled. Because every single letter opens a snap-preview. Means: if you have a blinkiesparklythingyword consisting of 10 letters, ten websites open. I have disabled snap-preview, but for those who haven't or who don't have a LJ account, it must be like using YIM and having ten people pinging them at the same time.
Yes, yes, I know, I'm an old grouch... but hey, for the first year, I've managed to mail my Yulecards off in time, though I made them myself! Go me!
