Or...so say people who moved to America and moved back ASAP.

That may be very well true, but there are alot of ignorant people who don't seem to care to learn anything at all about what is going on. They are complacent and feel that if things don't affect them personally , than they don't have to worry about it.

There are so many people who don't even vote! It disgusts me!
