HEADING FOR MIDDLE EARTH
(Los Angeles) Kate Bosworth, star of "Blue Crush" and "Beyond the Sea" sweetheart, seems to have landed the role of her life. In the upcoming HBO series "Tolkien - the untold tales", she will star as an Elf princess.
At the press conference held in Los Angeles earlier this week, the petite Hollywood darling spoke with great enthusiasm of her upcoming journey to Middle Earth.
"I was as surprised as you when my agent called," she laughed, "it's a dream come true for me. I can't wait to wear those cute little ears!"
Kate will portray an Elf princess called Celebrain who dies a tragically death at the hands of the evil Orcs.
Whether Hollywood beau Orlando Bloom, Kate's on-and-off boyfriend and Elf-by-trade will also appear in the series is not known yet. Peter Jackson, director of the block buster Lord of the Rings trilogy and not involved with this project, was not available for a comment as per this morning. (cp)
