I always had a hunch that they would think Valinor a bit too boring. I cannot fault Glorfindel and the other Elves for wanting some adventures once in a while

I always wondered what would become of the soldiers. It's like children who grow up with war and don't know what to do when peace arrives. It's like anyone who lives with fear and battles and struggles of any kind - when peace is promised it almost isn't enough. I suppose everyone needs something to fight against.
