IDP Camp - The Onward Journey! - Saturday 6th March and Wednesday 10th March
Hey There!
Firecat Masquerade are once again looking for some willing volunteers to assist on security training simulations for aid workers.
We need the following:
1)Up to 15 people to play Internally Displaced people, Rioters and possibly riot police on Saturday 6th March. Yes it is a saturday. We can cover reasonable travel costs and give you lunch, and will be lots of fun - and you will get a warm glowy feeling about helping people! Venue is the Frontier Centre, near Welllingborough, Northants. Train station pick up possible. There will hopefully be a car coming from Brighton. Could be good to get a car coming from Oxford too? Simulation setting is loosely based on Haiti, and is training DEC shelter specialists who will be going out there shortly - So indirectly you are helping with the Earthquake relief. AND ITS A SATURDAY
2) Up to 5 people for the usual IDP gig on Wed 10th March.
