Released: Of Great Price & Heartstrings
I’m happy and excited to announce that Chronicles of Ylandre Book 9: Of Great Price is out. It’s being published to the different stores so it might take a couple of days to show up in some of them. Anyway, I’m posting the D2D universal book link below. All the outlets are in this link so it will be easy to find and select your preferred store.

One caveat for which I ask my dear readers' pardon: if you haven’t read the republished editions of Sacred Fate and Hallowed Bond, you might be confused by an event in Of Great Price. Long story short: As a new author, I was too lacking in confidence to stick to my guns and so made changes that bugged me throughout the series.
In my original draft of Sacred Fate, one line of dialogue indicated that it’s Yovan Seydon to whom a certain secret was confided. My intent then was to establish his importance in the scheme of things for when I wrote his book. But when I submitted my manuscript for publication, I switched him with another character. Let’s just say I was led to believe an older character wouldn’t attract readers and was persuaded to go with one of the cousins instead. Naturally I had to continue with that change in Hallowed Bond in two lines of dialogue. Skip forward several years and books later and I realized I couldn’t let go of Yovan’s story. So when I set out to republish the earlier books, I decided to change that one particular line in SF and the two in HB and restore Yovan to his rightful place as a lead character in his own book. Whatever readers’ reactions may be to this, I hope Of Great Price doesn’t disappoint.
I’m also chuffed that another cover arrived in time for me to re-release Book 4: Heartstrings alongside OGP. It’s set to come out tomorrow so I’ll also post the UBL for it though that will go live a day later. As with Books 1-3, there are some changes, but nothing major. Basically the correction of typos that got through the first time and some tweaks to fix a few awkwardly structured or worded sentences and the like.

In other news, the cover of Book 5: Cross Purposes is almost done so I might be able to republish it this July or early August. And I’m revving up to start Book 10. If all goes well and writer’s block doesn’t get in the way again, I may finish it next year. *crosses fingers* It will feature Aeldan, older brother of Heartstrings’ Ashrian Mithani. A good chunk of the story will involve a return visit to the southern kingdom of Asmara and the reappearance of its royal family, the Halvans. Make of that what you will.
