I was only defeated by the campus once! *3*
So today was the first day of school. It was actually cool beans. I somehow managed to get to all my classes on time and didn't make a fool of myself. Except when I did the fangirl OMGRLY? stare at my children's lit proff when he said he brought Phillip Pullman into one of his classes once and might do it again. 8DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
So children's lit is probably going to be my favourite class again!! This teacher is this eccentric old british dude with a healthy dose of sarcasm in his lecture style. For Nilie, who was wondering, Oral Traditions in Children's Literature are stuff like fairy tales, nursery rhymes, lullabies. We are also doing some written stuff like the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, Oscar Wilde. We're also doing the Grand Daddies of the Modern Stuff like the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Golden Compass, and The Hobbit. No Harry Potter. LULZ.
The other class I have is History in the Age of Robin Hood. I'm basically taking that class for teh lulz. I couldn't find anything else to take. Credits are credits at this point. :P Strangely, there are two people in that class that I know. Curt from my gaming group was there, that was a fluke.
It's nice to have something to look forward to again. =D
Oh, and the Romeo x Juliet anime is adorable! I don't care what you say about it Nilie! I love eet! At least I found this series at the start of term, rather than the end. :P
