After five years of putting myself through all the pain and suffering, while trying to take midterms, or work, or go on vacation, or whatever else...

I won my first NaNoWriMo!

Please excuse me while I do a dance of ridiculous glee over this dorktastic acomplishment that I can finally check off my list.

Finally broke 20k. Have actual plot happening now. Can probably get myself caught up AND stay on track AND write my history essay all this weekend, if I really focus. Yay me.

This paragraph and last post I made will be all I will say concerning anything about the election we just had in America, because I hate politics and really don't want them seeping into my journal. I've got 2006 words and 15 minutes to type a few more, and that was starting at noon today after recovering from the party last night.

I turned nineteen yesterday and didn't die, so I suppose that's a good sign. I'm already horrifically behind on my NaNoNovel, but not nearly as behind as I've been in past years, so I suppose it's okay. And we got through the tech today with minimal "GRAHH!", so I have hope for the rest of the week.

And now, I novel.

Well, Diviners is consistently inconsistent. I'm finally getting my act together, except not, illness is passing around the cast, and we coming up with little things that everyone thought everyone else was doing, or something like that.
