This pretty much sums up the way my life is right now:
The sweetest email I had sitting in my inbox when I finally quelled my panic enough to check it was from one of my actors. She opened by saying she hoped I was having a wonderful weekend...and then proceeded to explain that there had been a sudden death in her family. She assured me that she would still be at our massive tech on Saturday, but asked if there was any way I could let her leave early so that she could get to the funeral service.
I don't care if I have to piss everyone off, I'm going to let her go, because anyone willing to show up to tech on the day of a family funeral ought to get a break.
And now, I have to go continue sending emails to less amazing people.
