Herald the Geekery

If I ever finish this bloody huge dragon cross-stitch, I'm wondering if I can bastardize part of the pattern (specifically the head) into shades of red and design a "Bedivere" device. Despite always being a purple girl, it only seems apropriate to adopt a red dragon as my heraldic device, since I do take the snarky Welsh git as my patron knight. I'm not sure if I've qute got the eye to properly switch colors myself, though I did pass our tech class on "Acrylics Color Wheel 101" with flying colors. Literally.

of course, I'd kind of like something bigger. Maybe I should look up that fantasy cross-stich pattern site again and see if they have anything that would work. Or I could whip out the handy-dandy colored pencils and graph paper and try to convert the patter I have in a 4-to-1 ratio. (Four stiches on my patter for ever one on the existing pattern.)

Also, this song makes the most disturbingly wrong Hannibal/Clarice shipper song ever, because it's really just a sweet little lullaby, but at the same time totally works.

I haven't used the Roof icon in a very long time, so here it is. And I need to stop staying up into the wee hours of the morning doing nothing. It's only worth it if I do something.

arthurian legends, fangirlishness, randomosity, cross-stitch, ships, welsh studies, my geekery beats yours with a stick
