May I introduce Lord Mumble Mumble Something-or-other.
Well, it sounds like I'll be spending the weekend mostly over at Tom's, and after all is done, he and I shall be the best-dressed Beatrice and Benedick to ever grace the LasPo stage. I don't see why guys "aren't supposed" to sew and tailor and such, because it seems fairly sexy to me. And the fact that he's not charging nearly as much as this usually would cost makes it even more appealing.
I tell you, Ken must not think I can do comedy, because I had suggested Kate and Petrucio, but he wanted us to do Beatrice and Benedick. Now I'm totally fine with that, but which scene does he want us to do? The one after the wrecked wedding that starts with me crying. *amusion* That's okay, it'll still be pretty funny at some points, like tom's delivery of "May a man do it?" We did decide to leave the hip thrust out of it though, so it wasn't too over the top. Heck, it's a funny line however you say it.
One of my actors had a siezure today on campus and had to be taken to the hospital (which it sounds like was more a formality and thanything else). She's fine, but she had to miss rehearsal, which threw me off a little. We're in pretty good shape though as far as lines and blocking, it's really just costumes and than %#@*&$#*% tire swing that are the problems now.
And tech was techy. We built a flat today. Go us.
