"Look everyone! It's a Hollywood ending!"

So I finally ordered slews of DVDs from Amazon...and in the process totally forgot the set that I was actually planning to order and got a different one instead. Heh. It alright though, because everything I ordered was still stuff on my Wishlist. Anyhoo, I ordered Illuminata, Coney Island Baby, Iron Jawed Angels, and the Anthony Trollope Collection, which contains He Knew He Was Right, The Way We Live Now, and The Barchester Chronicles. Notice that everything has either Roof or Laura Fraser in it, because I'm a horrible horrible obsessive person.

And while I'm being horrible and obsessive...I watched The Last King the other night, and once it was over I watched the little BBC "Behind the Scenes" special that was included on the DVD. Well, apparently the interviews I've read weren't kidding: Roof doesn't sit still in an interview. Ever. The best parts of the actor interviews though were Helen McCrory talking about Lady Castlemane and Roof and Shirley walking through the hall at Whitechaple and talking about Charles and Catherine's relationship. And the little gal who played Nell Gwynn is adorable. I can't recall her name.

I desperately want to go to the bookstore. Maybe I can convince one of the parents to take me over to Hacienda when they get home from church. I stand a better chance of this if I clean out Laertes first...of course, I can't do that before they get home, because I they probably drove him. I can't think of any reason they'd take Wilma or the Truck.

And I got a letter for Soujin yesterday which made me giddyful! And now I have butterflies on my computer!

Hmm...I wonder how long before anyone realizes I've comandeered Gosford Park.

I'll try to get back to working on my blasted History essay now. Maybe that'll be approximately equivalent to cleaning out Laertes...or maybe not, but I can dream, can't I?
