Doesn't the little "Subject" box make you feel like you're writing an elementary school paper?

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have noted a sign of the Apocalypse, for today not only did I go clothes shopping of my own volition, but I tried on AND purchased a pair of pants. Obviously, to world is coming to an end.

(For those of you who don't know: I'm 5'9", approximately a size 3 or 5 jean (yes, I know those aren't sizes), and have a 34-inch minimum inseam. Pants shopping=hell. Most of my pants, therefore, came from L.L.Bean Online when they still had their extra tall stuff.)

Lil' Bro had his birthday party today, so my backyard was full of noisy 11-13 year old boys all day. (Okay, there were five of them, plus Penguin and Christina P., but it sure sounded like a lot more.) It really wasn't too bad though; they're good kids. Then most of them all headed to Imagine for John Edge's party, so Dad and I took the sibs there and did stuff in town.

In addition to some minor clothes shopping (gaspeth!), Dad and I went to Arby's where the topics of discussion covered people from my old school, things we could possibly do for my birthday this year, things we could do for my sister's birthday this year, and the career goals of people I go/went to school with. Then we went to B&N, and although I shouldn't have, I got a book. It's supposed to be the epic thing that was written to fill the gap between The Illiad and The Odyssey, and it was hardcover, and only $6, and I collect Trojan War/Greek Mythology related books. Someday I'm going to just buy all the ones that I've read but don't own yet.

Tyler and I are going to Bay Books on Tuesday, so I need to make a list of what I'm looking for so that I actually only get those, if anything. I also need to see if Mom had other books for me to go through to take and trade for store credit. I do so love used bookstores now.

I need other silly/happy/generally random icons. I'll go work on that now.
