The 15-Character meme, Part 2.

Apr 13, 2006 13:54

Alright, here's the list of characters and the answers to the questions you asked. I suggest not drinking soda while reading, because I give detailed answers.

1. Marian Halcombe (The Woman in White)
2. Dr. Gregory House (House M.D.)
3. Sir Andrew Aguecheek (Twelfth Night)
4. Jack Seward (Dracula)
5. Attolia (The Queen of Attolia)
6. Septimus Hodge (Arcadia)
7. Gil Grissom (C.S.I.: Las Vegas)
8. Clarice Starling (The Silence of the Lambs)
9. Ophelia (Hamlet)
10. Edward Rochester (Jane Eyre)
11. The Velveteen Rabbit (The Velveteen Rabbit)
12. Mrs. Emma Peel (The Avengers)
13. Chauvelin (The Scarlet Pimpernel)
14. Agamemnon (Trojan War Mythos)
15. Anathema Device (Good Omens)

3 (Sir Andrew) and 10 (Rochester) are cast in a Wildean comedy. Which is playing the dandy, and which his love interest? Rochester would complain about Andrew, make some jabs about "gross indecency", then finally agree to be the dandy, only because that's the male role. Andrew would don a dress and have no idea what's going on.

7 (Grissom) is directing. Who do they want to strangle first? Probably Rochester, because Andrew would just amuse him and remind him of Greg.

12 (Mrs. Peel) is writing a novel of epic proportions. Is it any good? What's the subject matter? It's called My Secret Life, and is an account of her years working for The Ministry. It's very good, but leaves readers unsatisfied, because she still never reveals the extent of her relationship with Steed.

6 (Septimus) is plotting to take over the world. Which three of the others do they recruit as minions, and why? Seward, because he wants a doctor but House is too irritable; Grissom, because he has good general knowledge; and Mrs. Peel, because she kicks butt.

Does 11 (The Velveteen Rabbit) prefer crunchy or creamy peanut butter? With jelly, honey, or fluff? Creamy, with fluff, on an English muffin if you've got one.

7 (Grissom) is writing a book. What is it about? Is it dedicated to 15 (Anathema) or 9 (Ophelia)? Oh, it's probably about insects, or maybe about some of the cases he's covered. In either case, it's probably dedicated to Ophelia as a sort of classical reference to suicide.

If 6 (Septimus) were an animal, which animal would s/he be? Would 3 (Sir Andrew) agree with your choice? Septimus would be a tortoise maybe a fox? Andrew would agree with any animal I picked, because he's like that.

It's snowing! What do 1 (Marian), 5 (Attolia), and 12 (Mrs. Peel) do? Marian starts a snowball fight, which Mrs. Peel pretends not to be amused by, but then joins. Attolia sneers at the whole thing and goes inside to stay warm.

13 (Chauvelin) has a chance to star on Broadway in his/her favorite show. Would s/he take it? And which show is it? The show is The Woman in White, and he agrees to play Fosco only if a) he is completely unrecognizable and B) if Marguerite is cast as Marian. (I totally just made that up off the top of my head.)

4 (Seward) and 14 (Agamemnon) vow to be best friends forever. What caused this? Drugs?

2 (House), 8 (Clarice), and 10 (Rochester) find themselves seated together on an airplane. What happens? House makes some tactless remark about Rochester's being crippled, Rochester tries to swing a punch at him, but is subdued by Clarice. House give Clarice some thank you and compliment rolled into an "I could have taken him myself" comment. Clarice decides then that House reminds her of a lot of other pig headed men she's me and lets Rochester punch him. The plane makes an emergency landing in Nepal and throws all three of them off.

1 (Marian) and 8 (Clarice) go on a trip together. 10 (Rochester), their arch-nemesis decides to ambush them. What happens? Clarice and Rochester have a full-blown comic-book fight, which Clarice wins. Marian is highly impressed and askes Clarice to teach her various self-defence moves and how to shoot, which Clarice gladly does. Rochester slinks back to his lair to brood like a broody thing plot their demise again.

2 (House), 7 (Grissom), 9 (Ophelia), 11 (The Velveteen Rabbit), and 14 (Agamemnon) have to share an 3-bedroom apartment together. What's the rooming situation like? Grissom suggests being diplomatic and drawing straws. Agamemnon ignores him and takes the first bedroom, threatening to behead anyone who contests. House says that if Agamemnon gets his own bedroom, he does to, and takes the second one. Ophelia is absolutely terrified of all the scary men and is prepared to sleep on the couch with The Velveteen Rabbit, but Grissom is a gentleman and gives them the third bedroom. After all, he works the night shift anyway, and can sleep wherever he wants during the day while the others are gone.

12 (Mrs. Peel) causes the Apocalypse. How? 5 (Attolia) and 3 (Sir Andrew) stop said Apocalypse. How? Mrs. Peel accidentally activates a Doomsday Device while battling the villain. Andrew accidentally deactivates the Doomsday Device while trying to impress Attolia, who he has a crush on. She takes all the credit.

6 (Septimus), 8 (Clarice), 10 (Rochester), 12 (Mrs. Peel), and 3 (Sir Andrew) are in kindergarten together. What are they like? What are they doing? Is the teacher going to go nuts? Septimus is playing with number blocks, and does not want to be interrupted, thank you. Clarice and Mrs. Peel are playing variations on "Cops and Robbers" with each other, both with "guns" and by kung-fu-ing each other. Rochester is pouting in a corner for no aparent reason. Andrew is trying to find someone else to play with, but can't, and so decided he has a crush on the teacher. The teacher is trying not to pull her hair out.

2 (House) and 4 (Seward) go to an acquarium. Who climbs into the shark tank? That would depend on who has taken more of their drug of choice. Seward's kind of a klutz, so he might fall in. Or House might push him.

1 (Marian) and 15 (Anathem) are trying to clean the house they live in together. What's happening? Are you kidding? They both have far more important things to do than clean house!

5 (Attolia), 11 (The Velveteen Rabbit), and 13 (Chauvelin) decide that they want to go on American Idol. With what songs or acts are they auditioning? Who'll win? Chauvelin sings Gary Jules' "Mad World", accompanying himself on the piano, and gets light applause. Then Attolia belts a pop version of "I Hate Men" and wins the hearts of the feminists, until they realize she's married. Finally The Velveteen Rabbit gets up and shyly sings "The Rainbow Connection". Simon thinks he sucks, but he's so adorable he gets everyone's vote and wins.

7 (Grissom) and 14 (Agamemnon) are on their honeymoon. Where, why, and how are they going to get along? Greece, because they both like the scenery, and they're divoced within three days when they realize they both have canon love interests they're better suited to.

9 (Ophelia) would play football or rugby or soccer? Probably soccer (assuming we mean American soccer) because it's the least contact sport of the three.
