He did it! He fucking did it!
Okay, I might be moronicly excited about this, but what the heck.
Last summer, late july, early august some time, I stumbled into a strange looking website when looking for pics of an actor I love. His name is Jason Marsden, and if you haven't heard of him you can look him up. He's done dozens of movies and tv shows, mostly sit-coms, and does voices for Disney among others. You're sure to have come across him at least once in your life. Anyway, this website was apparently his own offical website, only it had no pics. He says it's because he doesn't want to get too full of himself, since his ego would like nothing more than to plaster the internet with pictures of himself.
Still, it felt odd. It even had his email adress up there, encouraging people to write him. Said he reads all his emails. So I wrote him. I fangirled all over him. It was like four in the morning and I had been up all night slashing and chatting and whatnot, so it was a tiredly impulsive thing.
Then last January I received an email in my inbox where he thanked me for my compliments, etc, which had me a bit excited as well. In the email he said his headshots were all outdated, but if I gave him a while he'd get new ones done, sign one and send it to me. I squeed, but was still suspicious. No way it was that easy.
Today it got here. Fourteen months after I sent him that email, there's a signed headshot in the mail, complete with a dedication in my name and everything. How cool is that? How many celebrities would take the time to do that for their fans? I bet he sends out hundreds of those things...
I've been loving this guy since I was eleven, when Eerie Indiana aired in Sweden. Jason played a boy with grey hair. I used to copy his tattoos with black marker...
Anyway, enough of that. I've got some framing to do. :) Lalalalala...hooo...
