So, things were slow at the zoo today. People kept coming in looking like hell: pale, passing out in the booths, a few of them were even shaking. Security had an interesting time, from what I could tell: kept hearing calls going out to them. Thought I heard the code for 'animal bite' being called over the radio once, but they canceled it later. Anyway, there wasn't much to do in food, so they sent me home early. Glad I left when I did: there was a mob of people entering: I think I even heard an employee scream in frustration.

Lots of shops closed on the way home. Is it a holiday or something?
