(no subject)
yay for florida winters!
the beach was glorious. sunny and cool yet warm enough to sun ourselves and nap repeatedly. and the snowbirds/squawking seagulls were moderately amusing.
we got lucky cause we kept forgetting to put change in the meter and weren't ticketed. yay!
boca is good, minus the fact that I haven't really seen jon. I really wish he would hang out with the group but he's always busy doing his parents bidding or working or napping from being tired from working.. sigh.
i'm sickish but i'm doing a little mind over matter... so i'm actually fine. but i feel the snot dripping into my throat, eeeeewwwwwwww ha. but i really do.
christmas is coming up slowly, it feels. but i don't want this week to end because that means post christmas there's less time for fun. but i want christmas.. shopping and presents yayy. though the fam schedule is weird this year... i just want to enjoy my time with my fam this year, no bickering or arguing or bitterness.. its christmas for goodness sake.
I want to have a new years party but I feel my mom is iffy about it and also that it's coming up so quickly that if I don't plan soon i'll be kinda stuck. If I do have one, I'm just figuring everyone should bring something (so kind of a potluck new years? hehe).. that might deter my moms resistance considering that would keep her from spending tons of money on entertaining/feeding you peeps. ps think of things to entertain us til midnight bc i don't want to bore you guys. all i've got is the chimenea (thingy for toasting marshmallows) and a big hole in my backyard (woo for pool construction! ha)
i don't want to work but i don't want to go back to gville either. damn school. though i do miss some nonboca peeps (<3 kj)
my flash player on my computer is apparently broken.. well actually.. the flash player is just not working with mozilla.. wtf.. damn. i can't watch any videos or enter websites that have the first page as a flash thingy. which included my sorority website, but i found a way to get around that.
i should be cleaning my room/wrapping gifts. but all i want to do is nap. but i can't because i have to get pretty to go to dinner after picking up my mom from work. sighhhhh dilemmaaaaa.. oh well, i'm seeing lara! how exciting. and then paiges and then sleepover/giftxchange of love. should i bring anything to paiges? what are we doing there? oh well i'm excited. yay holidays!
oh, and btw, i got my Sedu (number one straightening iron on the market.. as seen in glamour! supposedly what they use on jennifer aniston.. aah thats right) and it is SO UTTERLY FANTASTICAL you cannot even begin to imagine. superfast heat-up, superlight, superefficient ironing, no breakage/damage of my lovely locks... oh it's just made my life. oh mother, how i love thee and your understanding of my need for the iron. (she caved and gave it to me before christmas... i'm so spoiled teehee)
