can you handle this? possibly not.

So yeah, 5-6-1 is pure and simple goodness.

The first two weeks have been extremely satisfying.. Nicholas time, working out, tanning, beaching, bowling, weddings, o-town… fabulousness.

The wedding was good, can ANYONE even handle the fact that the brides name was Starla? Because I can’t. It’s impossible to say that name without sounding southern. Obession? I say yes. It was a simple wedding, family time was quality, many pictures were taken, but if I am going to post some it’ll be later and brief. Mountains are love though.

I decided to start working sooner than I’d planned due to the sheer boredom I experienced post Nicholas visiting and pre plans/Orlando. I’m not so sure as of now I’m completely satisfied with that decision but I really don’t have an option anymore. Oh well, one of the main reasons I decided to other than boredom was because of my slowly draining funds.. it’s rather depressing logging into Wachovia.com these days.

House of Wax was the most outrageous movie ever, but seeing it with Steven was utter life, so I was satiated to say the least. The muscle soreness (from the tension) and sweating was almost as outrageous as the movie. But as promised, Paris Hilton did die fabulously and classlessly (red underwear?), as expected. The whole wax thing definitely gave the cheesy story an interesting twist… pretty gruesome though. Though it was conveniently unrealistic, there are still scenes from the movie I just can’t get over. And WHY jared padelecki?! So cute. Such sadness. And the boy from cousin skeeter/coach carter was just so completely out of place, as he is in all movies since his nickelodeon fame. Whatever, muvico was love.

Mmm onto o-town- it was glorious. Sheer gloriousness. The weather was amazing, the hotels and their amenities were amazing, Blizzard Beach was fantastic, and despite the several pick up attempts, Pleasure Island was a blast as well.

We pooled and lounged the first day, which was great, the pools were beautiful, the weather was perfect, there was a waterslide and a waterfall and we napped and.. ahh relaxing amazingness. Then we hit up the boardwalk which was cool and jacuzzied for some time before sleeping.

Blizzard Beach- what can I say other than it was as much fun as it normally is.. once again, great weather, good food, and no sunburns! Hooray! But it was exhausting, so afterwards we napped for a few hours, then got ready to go out, had dinner at a terrible restaurant (bleh I don’t even want to go into it), and hopped on the bus to Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island.

We first decided to go into this weird club called the “Adventurers Club” where apparently there are actors dressed to fit in into this hotel-type setting and you walk around and talk to them and… play along? Yeah, it was highly disturbing and weirded us out and kind of fizzled our party mood for a little bit, so we decided to get the hell out (in short). So we wandered around outside and decided to hit up “Motion” for a little while (the top 40 type club). It was ok, we danced for a bit, but then kept being asked to dance by creepy guys (minus one who wasn’t creepy that I think I insulted) or kept noticing that creepy guys were watching us like “Heh.. girls dancing.. with girls.. oh yeah.. heh..” so then we wandered outside for the nightly “new years eve celebration” at midnight, which was a bit of a letdown, but then we decided to go into the 70s/80s club, which was essentially the best idea of life. We had the absolute best time. They played allll these songs we knew, and the best part was that they also played the old videos on this huge screen and they were so unbelievably out there that we could not get over it. The video for “Whip It” won hands down. With the crack of the whip removing clothing, people with plant pots on their heads, and incredibly suggestive blondes, how could it not?! A close second was “Hey Mickey”, because of the happiest yet ugliest/most frightening cheerleader I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen many. And it was so great, because EVERYONE in the club was so much older than us and you could tell they were either giving us looks like “Aren’t they a little young to be in here? This is NOT their generation” or “Aww, look at those kids, they’re having so much fun”. It was nice, there wasn’t a constant creep supply.

Mm so we eventually went to get water, where we proceeded to get hit on by a guy who LOOKED at least 30. And so to deter this crazy beast, I said rather pointedly “Aren’t we a little young for you? And he seemed only kind of insulted and was all “Well how old are you guys?” And we’re all, “18… 19..” and he’s like “well GOD how old do I look?” and I (generously) was like “Twenty... eight?” And he pretended to be all hurt and then continued conversation and right in the middle I was like “Wait.. so how old are you really?” And he was like “… Twenty seven.” And it was pretty funny, he actually turned out to be somewhat entertaining for the few minutes we talked to him before being like “Okwe’regonnagodancenowbye” But really, he looked older. I swear.

Post that night we just chilled in Downtown Disney til we had to leave… great trip overall. I was in h-e-a-r-t. As always.

Mmm so yeah onto the part you’ve all been waiting for.. or most likely… just skipped to.
