"Daddy! Daddy! DAAAAAA!!"
The Darkness looked up from his writing just in time to catch a lapful of Cloey. She was bouncing around, waving her cupped hands frantically.
"Look what I found, you have to look! You have to!!"
Like a good father, he held Cloey still until he could capture her small hands with his own. As soon as she opened them, a multi-colored frog leaped from its place. It was a decidedly large frog, and it pleased Erebos that Klotho had learned that size did not mean anything to goddesses. Apparently, looking at the leaper as it made wet stains all over his parchment, neither did natural color.
Cloey had apparently turned the frog from its natural green to a kind of sky blue with swirls of purple and pink all up and down its back. He couldn't help but laugh.
"It's a beautiful frog, baby," he said, kissing the top of her head.
