Shades of Awesomeness
Well so much for the great Dusk feet vs. Nobles tunic race. Sampi bought a pair of Dusk feet for me at a good price this morning and now I'm down too much gil to reasonably spend a lot on WHM. So, as usual, a single friend is more useful than a whole bueocracy of a linkshell. No big shocker there.
Exp scroll'd SMN up to 65 (900 over level, was a good scroll!) so I can be a loot whore and lot SMN in city zones where there's nothing else good. If I get at least one piece I'll have more of an incentive to finish it off. My PLD's still 0/5 though so prolly fat chance.
FANCY SPECATCLES! The crystal war revisisted event was sorta cool. I was afraid it was going to be ten boring trips to the same places over and over, but its actually way faster just to wait for the NMs to spawn. I even soloed the Palborough one using nothing but a warp cudgel, a yigit body, and goliard clogs. I got 14 crystals in like 40 minutes that way and got my HQ shades. Oh yeah. Those are going straight into the town gear macro. It's a shame there isn't more too the event - I wouldn't mind getting like 50 shards if there was some absolutely specactular reward. Like, blue shades. But this seems to be it other than the national contest that Bastok will lose.
Slept through sky farming blah blah blah, did Ultima at Limbus, stuff dropped that I don't care about, blah blah blah, cool shades > all events today! At least we're back on Omega so I can start getting my hopes up for homam I won't get. Wow I'm bitter.
