A Joy Forever
A blue and gold sword is a joy forever.
When it got close to window time I asked a few people if they'd be willing to camp it with me. Wise, Shpen, Santi, and Strush all offered - more than enough and with good jobs to boot. It took about an hour for him to pop but considering the nature of his window, that ain't bad. The fight was nigh effortless, the reward for success unmeasureable.
You can scarely tell, but that's the Joyeuse there. Hurrah!
That's IT for my dancer! That's really it! The way is paved for me to be one of the strongest dancers on the server. I have fully capped dagger, sword, and critial hit merits. At 70 I'll get Joyeuse and Optical, 72 Dusk hands feet and legs as well as Suppanomimi, and 75 the Turban and Brutal. I'm very excited; it's going to be grand having such a strong setup on a job that is so unfamilar to most people. I'll do justice to the job guys, you'll see.
Zhayolm froggies again. Dem frogs are pretty rough. Relying purely on myself to stun Frog Chorus proved impractical. Even if I was watching and had Head Butt ready, all it took was a sleepga or a water bomb or the spell itself not landing for me to fail to stun it. Plus it's becoming increasingly obvious that Head Butt won't save us against the higher floor frogs. The fourth floor one (the one in the ramparts) seemed resistant to stun and the fifth floor perhaps outright immune. Actually they seemed resistant/immune to many things including disseverment poison. Hmm hmm hmm. Shpen says every salvage group has trouble with those frogs, the fourth floor one in particular, but I'm sure there's a way to work out a better fighting strategy for our group.
The "highlight" of the day, and I use the term sarcastically for sure, was Tiamat camping. Yeah, the dragon with 48 windows, each an hour apart. We didn't have a holding party, oh no, we had a holding alliance. A full one. For pretty much all of the day. Yeeeahhh. It's safe to say Laria really, really wanted to kill Tiamat. Granted, it wasn't purely manditory - people could come and go as they wanted to (which is how I snuck the Joyeuse kill in there as well as the salvage) but a large number of pepole didn't move from that spot all day. I've been working through Smash Brawl so I was fine plopping myself there for easy attendance points. I wonder how other people dealt with it.
See this screenshot of us fighting Tiamat. Oh wait, you don't? That's because it didn't pop today despite literally camping it every second of Sunday. I seriously doubt people from other linkshells read Ereblog, but I'll play it safe and not say when the window ends, though it's not revealing too much to say that the window progresses into Monday as well. Will some other linkshell claim it while we're all sleeping? At this point, after everyone in AXI spend most of their entire day AFK while their characters sat in the chasm, I'm not sure anyone cares. Oh well. Fighting Tiamat would have been pretty cool.
