I'm back from New York. It was amazing. I'm too tired to write all the details, so I'll just post highlights, but not all. We saw everything. Details will come later.
I went to a gay bar and saw a show performed by a drag queen who is a member of one of the Houses from "Paris is Burning."
I went to the Metropolitan Museum and saw an exhibit covering the impact of Comics on the fashion industry. They had so many original works, surrounded by pieces they inspired. I saw Tobey McGuire's Spiderman outfit. There was Linda Carter's original Wonder Woman costume and Michelle Pfeiffer's original Catwoman suit (Padon!!!). After that they had Robert Downy Jr's Ironman suit and Christian Bale's batsuit from The Dark Knight!!! Finally we saw Rebecca Romijn's skin pieces for Mystic on a full mannequin. It was fan-fucking-tastic!!!
Our last night we went to a club called Heros. After dancing there for about 30min our friend Elegene informed me that we were dancing in the actual location for the fight of the House of Blue Leaves from Kill Bill. How fucking amazing is that. I was dancing were The Bride killed an entire legion of gangsters\(^_^)/
I leave for Paris in three daysO_o
