while i would never say that planning my wedding is driving me crazy . . .
planning my wedding is driving me crazy!!!
it's not easy to do when my fiance's overseas and can't help me with much. and even more frustrating to know that if he was here, he WOULD be helping. a lot. that's just the type of person he is.
add to that the fact that my Maid of Honor is in Madison and the other two bridesmaids are in Minneapolis and Turkey. blah. i have a massive list of stuff that needs to be done. and thank god the wedding's on a sunday - it means things don't book up as fast.
on one hand, i'm frustrated with certain aspects of planning (i.e. a caterer and a photographer!) but at the same time i want to enjoy what i'm doing because i'm not going to be doing this again. this is it for me. for us. maybe we'll have another big "wedding" and renew our vows for our 25th anniversary or something.
guess that's it, really. just wanted to blow off steam. i can't wait for august. the sooner, the better! still can't believe i'm actually getting married. . . .
