Right.

I just treated myself to a new Livejournal layout. For a good while now, I've just been reading friends entries and not writing myself. My last entry was July 14, a small eternity ago. Sadly enough, I can't really say that anything remarkable happened since then.

My not-so-new-anymore job is great. I work around the same amount of hours as I did, and I earn a lot more. Every month I keep getting amazed by how big my paycheck is, and now things will expand as well and I will get even more to do which again means even more money. Not that money counts that much - but after all, I do have study debts and it is crazy not to have to worry about how to afford food at the end of the month or not getting screwed up by an unexpected bill.

Health wise things could have been better. I have been pretty lazy lately, and being able to afford good food is not a good thing when you are lazy. Last week I covered a karate tournament, and one of the coaches said I should pop by on Thursday. Maybe I will. My right knee is not too happy right now, but as long as I take it slow it should hopefully work. It will be weird going back after so long. I wonder if I will really go, or whether it is just something I am telling myself in my head and when the time comes, I won't go anyway.

Gaming wise things just keep floating. I am still as into Warcraft 3 as before, although sometimes I feel like I am more a babysitter than a manager of a professional team. Right now things are going okay. The team is performing, and I can't really see how we won't make it to the playoff of the league we are in. In addition, one of my players, who has been severely underrated (and trashed for it by the community) has gotten his big breakthrough and I think it is awesome that he finally shows what he can do.

And I've started playing Guild Wars. Yeah, yeah, I remember back in the day when I would kind of say that hell would freeze over before I would play an MMORPG. But my roomie and one of my friends play, and that made all the difference. They kept talking about it, and meanwhile, I got tired of losing in Random Team and wanted something else to do when I was bored. Guild Wars it was. I haven't even had the game for three weeks, but I have put in almost 100 hours and my healing monk is level 20. Sure, the interest will probably fade sooner or later, but for now, it is a great way of wasting time and actually spending time with my friends who aren't into Warcraft 3.

I love my cat a lot. She sleeps in my bed every night. A few nights ago, I accidentally moved my knee into her while she was asleep, and she was so startled she jumped straight out of the bed and ended up on the floor, looking pretty confused. Never mind that all my black t-shirts are full of gray cat hair. Which reminds me that I need to buy a clothes brush or one of those adhesive rollers that I can just roll over my clothes to remove the hair.

So, there I go, another entry done and perhaps I will even be able to update more frequently now. Yeah, right. I guess it will be a few months, if I am lucky.
