So things got a little intense yesterday.

During recruitment practice we played the bonding activity "If you really knew me", which is where you take turns stating facts about yourself and if someone else has that in common with you they raise their hand. The first round is always something silly or unimportant, but it gets more serious after that.

ten fingers is where everyone sits in a circle and holds up ten fingers. one at a time, we go through the circle and someone says something they've never done. for example, a common one is "never have i ever had sex" and anyone who HAS had sex would put a finger down. unfortunately it gets dirty pretty fast and people usually lose all their fingers rather quickly and then we have to count back up. lol. but it is fun. my sorority plays it at every crossing party to get to know the new girls in a more intimate setting, i guess.

and move your booty is a game we tend to play at socials. everyone stands in a circle and one person stands in the middle. they say "move your booty if.." and something that applies to them, like "move your booty if you're wearing sneakers" and everyone who wears sneakers has to run through the circle and try to get another spot, which always leaves one person out (kind of like musical chairs, in that way). whoever is left out has to stand in the middle and speak, and it continues from there.

yes, we do. i know most sororities at my school have littles pick their bigs but we don't. i know when my sorority was first founded bigs picked their littles out of a hat but that stopped when two of the girls REALLY hated each other and ended in a fight that involved cake being thrown at each other. lol. so now bigs pick the littles right before what we call "big little week" which is when we shower them with themed, anonymous gifts with hints until the end of the week when we have "revelation" and reveal who we are. and because bigs do pick their littles, seniority does matter a bit because we try not to let a girl graduate without having had a little. but some girls get multiple littles so that complicates things too.
