... Zorrosuchil (which is such an awesome name), I was just rereading your erasure and the piece it was from and I suddenly wanted to erase it too because ZOMG the imagery.

So, uh, I did, and have asked her permission to post it. It is nowhere near as good as yours, but I think I might be irretrievably hooked on erasure. *dies*

It's so rich and beautiful! It makes you want to tear it apart and put the pieces back together and see what happens, and if you can something quite as beautiful as the first piece!

I am hopeful that she will say I can, but I am waiting for her permission. *crosses fingers*

I'M DOOMED. I'm just going to always be looking at books and thinking 'man if you connected those two parts it would be a great line for a poem'. ALWAYS.

... come to think of it, there's nothing to actually complain about in that, is there? :D

Erasure is real poetry, so if you have a yen for it you should DO it. And get it published perhaps!

This was alot of fun! I can't wait for next year. I've found myself erasing passages from the bible, which is really sacreligious, but I couldn't help it. Do you think I could post those here, or is it not really relevant?

I agree with be_themoon about your name, btw. :)

You should post them, if you don't feel *too* sacrilegious. I think erasing the bible is probably less sacrilegious than some bible fanfiction that's out there.

haha, it is a silly name and I love it so. lassiterfics pretty much makes my life.

Again, thank you so much for organizing this. In the beginning I was a little nervous and unsure if I should do it. But I sooo glad I did. It was so much fun!

And: Annual? Can't we do it like every six months or so? I don't wanna wait a whole year!!1!

Yay, I'm glad it turned out well for you :D

I was sort of thinking that myself, it is a long time to go. I dunno how up I'm going to be for organizing in six months, since I'm going to be abroad? but we will see. and besides in the meantime there is always informal 1-on-1 exchange possibilities? ficathons are so much fun, though; you get to meet all these new people!
