So, I'm in pretty good spirits today. Translated this means I haven't been thinking much yet. I'll try not to start now.
Chuck D spoke on campus last night. He raised some pretty good points. He's actually a really intelligent guy. Of course, he also had much to say about Bush and the war that made me angry, because I support Bush and the war. Regardless, I'm glad I went.
I have an appointment with my College Writing II professor tomorrow morning, to plead my case about the topic I want to do for my term paper. The class is about arguments over social issues, and he told us all along that we could choose any controversial topic we wanted. I chose drug law reform. He turned me down.
This, however, will not be the last he's heard of me. There is absolutely no reason why drug law reform is not a legitimate choice, while gun control or abortion are. I don't see a difference. I'm not going to be standing in front of the class drooling and yelling DRUGS ROCK, DUDE! What the fuck. I will win this argument, damnit. I'm going to go start to prepare what I want to say.
