ahhh an update after 2-3 months?
School has been amazing, I find myself there more and more as the weeks pass. There is something theraputic about standing in a dark room making moments in life you've captured on acetate into an image. I've learned so much, and have been able to use so many different types of cameras. Right now I have an Bronica 2 1/4 camera. I can't wait to process the film, as it will either be beautiful or a disaster, I've never used a camera where I had to completely rely on a light meter. I must say I don't trust myself, but film is cheap and processing free because I can do it myself. The most exciting camera I've made/used has to be pinhole, I will post some of my images at the end (because who really wants to read all this, I know people are just going to look at the pics on their friends list.
speaking of friends I doubt I even have any on here. I love reading my friends list, but I never comment because any artists friends I have on lj I would feel so inadaquate just saying "thats really good" "thats the most beautiful picture I've ever seen" etc. It's all superficial bullshit people say to make people feel safe, and confident. I can't just say that to people I really think have talent, it just makes them too confident, theres confidence and then there is the confidence one gets that makes them big headed like they'll make huge amounts of money taking pictures of flowers.
Anyway I have to go to work so here's some pinhole fun!...I can't believe I made a camera out of a tea box.
