OOC: Your Guide to the Basics of Nabari No Ou [Still Under Construction]
Hi there, this is a guide to things, events, people, and places that any of the Nabari cast here at Kannagara might bring up and I am providing definitions so everything is easy to follow :
1. People :
-Tojuro Hattori : Hattori is the leader of the Kairoshu, the organization that Shimizu Raikou, Meguro Gau, and Yoite were all a part of. Hattori lead them to believe that the Kairoshu were going to do good in the world by bringing global change and peace by rewriting history. On the outside world Hattori is a politcal analyst and eventually runs for public office. He is the one who found a dying Sora and brought him into the Kairoshu, tricked him into learning the kira, and left him with Yukimi. Hattori intends to separate the Shinrabansho from Miharu and put it in himself.
-Ichiki : Ichiki is Hattori's right hand woman and the leader of the KASA: a deadly bunch that is eventually ordered to hunt down and kill Yoite and retrieve Miharu.
-Kazuhiko Yukimi : Yukimi is placed in charge of watching Yoite and thus plays a father figure role. In the front world he is a writer/journalist, whilst in the Nabari world he is a shinobi in the Kairoshu who uses a gun instead of more traditional weapons. Yukimi is happy go lucky but says that he hates children and "brats" however he is actually quite fond of Yoite. Yukimi is the one who named Yoite, naming him after a cat he had as a child.
-Shimizu Raimei : Raikou's 14 yr old sister and a samurai living as part of the Fuma village after her brother slaughters her clan. When Miharu is revealed to be the Shinrabansho Raimei comes to banten and ends up joining the Banten team who intend to separate the Shinrabansho from Miharu. Raimei has never stopped hunting for her brother, wishing to pass judgement on him to avenge the Shimizu name. This relationship goes through ALOT OF DEVELOPMENTS, I would suggest asking Sayomibaka for more details if you need them
- Kumohira Tobari : Miharu's teacher, the head of the Banten team, and self-proclaimed protector of Miharu. Tobari is terrified of vehicles and is extremely weak against Miharu's devil side. Tobari intends to never let Miharu use the Shinrabansho and says that if Miharu tries to go through with using the power to grant Yoite's wish that he will strike Miharu down. Tobari is also the only one who still has memories about Miharu's childhood and what happened when the shinrabansho appeared 10 yrs ago.
-Hanabusa : Tobari's girlfriend. Whilst Tobari is extremely hostile towards Yoite and anyone of the Kairoshu, Hanabusa is very much a mother figure to Yoite and Miharu. She is not a shinobi, instead she is an archaeologist in the front world.
-Aizawa Kouichi : Another member of the Banten Team. Kouichi was an owl that was turned into an immortal human through tests done by one of the previous owners of the shinrabansho. He wishes for Miharu to grant his wish to die, but at the same time doesn't want the shinrabansho to be used to make another immortal such as himself.
-Shijima : The human form of Miharu's cat Shiratama. Like Aizawa, Shijima is an immortal as a result of experimentation and she too shares the same wish to die.
-Amatatsu Kazuho : Yukimi's sister and a doctor for the Kairoshu. She tends to almost all of Yoite's medical needs.
-Juji : A 12 yr old healer shinobi from Fuma Village who has a crush on Miharu.
2. Things:
-Gamon: samurai swords of the Shimizu clan. Shimizu Raimei has the Kurogamon (the black gamon) and Shimizu Raikou has the white gamon.
-Kira : a forbidden ninjutsu that utilizes the users life force to shred victims from the inside out. The user eventually loses all 5 senses and disintegrates. So far there is no known cure for the effects of the Kira.
-okonomiyaki : A japanese dish often referred to as a "seafood pizza' though this name is misleading. Miharu works in his grandmother's Okonomiyaki shop and intends to inherit it one day.
-Daya : the secret healing potion of Kouga village. It requires human sacrifices to make.
-Wakachi : the wakachi are the Kairoshu's secret police. Shinizu Raikou and Meguro Gau form one of the Wakachi teams who monitor and persecute any kairoshu shinobi that go awol in the front world.
-Tenpenka: The secret scroll of Fuma
